Some reports require a certain number of journal entries in order to unlock! We set it up this way to ensure there is enough content to make your report meaningful. The more you journal, the more insights you can access!
New reports are generated within half an hour of writing new journal entries. After you unlock reports, they will be regenerated periodically, based on the number of new journal entries. In other words, once you view your “Life Story” report, you won’t see a new version until you write 5 more journal entries. The frequency of each report depends on its content and how much we expect it to meaningfully change as you write more.
Previous versions of reports are “archived.” You can find your archived reports by selecting the “Archive” at the top the DISCOVER section of your home page.
If you find yourself uncomfortable with something you find in your report or feel something is off, please let us know! We regularly adjust the way that reports are generated to make sure they are high quality. However, sometimes AIs do weird things! Please remember that you know yourself better than anyone and don’t take it too seriously.
We respectfully decline to answer questions about how to journal because there is no wrong way to journal. Write whatever you like. Just follow your thoughts.
Notion AI is a premium AI service that has nothing to do with JournalGroove. You do not need it to use JournalGroove, and subscribing to it does not impact the quality of your JournalGroove reports.
Yes, JournalGroove is currently 100% free, and can be used with a free Notion account. We are exploring subscription options as a way to support the project going forward.
